(Bloomberg) — French lender BNP Paribas SA has hired two bankers who previously worked at Credit Suisse to join its credit desks.
Isla Fletcher, who worked at Credit Suisse for eight years before leaving this summer, will join BNP’s corporate debt capital markets desk, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because they’re not authorized to speak about it. She will report to Adrian Frost, head of DCM for Northern Europe, one of the people said.
Julie Edinburgh is joining the structuring team at BNP, the people familiar said. She left Credit Suisse at the start of this year after working there for three years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Fletcher declined to comment and Edinburgh didn’t respond to a request for comment. Credit Suisse declined to comment.Â
BNP has topped the Bloomberg league table for euro currency bond arranging for the last seven years running, and is leading again so far this year. After the collapse of Credit Suisse the French lender is among the banks chasing a larger share of the Swiss franc bond market currently dominated by UBS Group AG.
