Racing 92’s South African-born lock Bernard Le Roux has hung up his boots after 21 months out with injury.The 35-year-old joined Racing in 2009 and went on to play 47 times for France after qualifying for his adopted country through residency.Le Roux made his international debut in a 30-0 loss to New Zealand in 2013 and ran out for France a last time in a 27-23 Six Nations defeat by Scotland in 2021.He played in the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups, and with Racing made the Champions Cup final on three occasions (2016, 2018, 2020) as well as winning the Top 14 in 2016.”Truly grateful for the past 15 years.
